Introduction
Lune Skin sent this at no cost and asked for nothing. The brand publishes no active percentages, which removes the usual way of judging a serum on paper and leaves only the thing I can actually test: how it behaves in a routine, night after night, with everything else held still.
Testing conditions
Twenty-eight consecutive nights with every other product in the routine held constant, so that anything I noticed could at least be narrowed down.
Two pumps to damp skin, followed by the same moisturiser throughout. No other routine changes during the four weeks.
| Frequency | Nightly, 28 consecutive nights |
|---|---|
| Routine control | All other products held constant |
| Environment | Air-conditioned indoors overnight |
| Season | Summer |
Method stages applied
Observations
- Night 1 Texture
Thin and slightly slippery. Absorbs in around 40 seconds on damp skin, noticeably longer on dry skin.
- Night 1 Comfort
No sting, no scent, no tack after absorption.
- Week 1 Layering
Layered under a gel-balm moisturiser without pilling on any night. This is the single thing I would highlight to anyone with a multi-step routine.
- Week 2 Feel
Skin felt less tight on waking than in my baseline week. This is a subjective comfort observation, not a measurement, and I cannot separate it from the weather changing.
- Week 4 Appearance
Comparing week-four photographs against the baseline set under identical lighting, I can see no difference I would be willing to attribute to this product.
- Week 4 Practicality
The airless pump dispensed consistently for the full four weeks. Roughly one third of the bottle remained.
Visual evidence
Baseline and week-four photographs under the same lighting. They look the same, and I am publishing them anyway, because that is the result.

Assessment
Suitability
Strengths
- Never pilled under any product across 28 nights
- No scent, no dyes, no sting
- Airless pump dispensed consistently
- Short ingredient list is easy to cross-check against an existing routine
Limitations
- Absorbs slowly onto dry skin, which makes it a damp-skin product in practice
- No published percentages means you cannot compare it against anything on paper
- Price is high for the volume
- Nothing about the result is dramatic, which may frustrate anyone expecting change
Suits well
- People building a routine who need a step that will not fight the other steps
- Anyone avoiding fragrance in night products
- People who prefer a thin texture over a rich one
May not suit
- Anyone shopping by active percentage
- Anyone wanting a visible short-term change
- Anyone who applies serum to fully dry skin
The verdict
A quiet, well-made product that does the unglamorous thing well: it fits into a routine without causing problems. Whether that is worth the price depends entirely on how much trouble your current routine gives you.
- Best for
- Routine compatibility rather than transformation
- Would repurchase
- Yes
Conclusion
What I can report is texture, comfort, layering behaviour and consumption rate. What I cannot report is any effect on skin condition: a four-week single-person test with a season changing around it cannot isolate that, and I am not going to pretend otherwise.
